ITWomen Charitable Foundation As part of its community outreach, ITWomen has established the nonprofit ITWomen Charitable Foundation, 501(c3)5. The ITWomen Charitable Foundation focuses on the ITWomen Role Model Speakers Program and the ITWomen Scholarship Program. Donations to the ITWomen Charitable Foundation make these programs possible. $44,000 Raised in 2009 Scholarship Drive
One of the "Faces of FAU" Florida Atlantic University student Christina Zarrilli, is a 2009 ITWomen scholarship recipient. Majoring in ocean engineering, she is President of the FAU Society for Women Engineers (SWE). The 2009 ITWomen CIO Celebrity Texas Hold'Em Poker Tournament and Casino Night Scholarship Fundraiser held November 19 has raised more than $44,000 for the ITWomen Charitable Foundation's scholarship program. The Scholarship Program supports South Florida women who are pursuing college degrees in technology and engineering. The Foundation's scholarship program is part of ITWomen's mission to narrow the gender gap in technology. The 2009 fundraiser recognized South Florida CIOs. ...
